Last night's studies

I had some spare time last night and worked out these 2 images. They took alot longer than I expected. I think the first one still needs alittle work. This is sort of a warm up to get me into the swing of things. I'll be doing the exercises which John K has assigned in his cartoon college posts throughout the week.

Cartoon Studies

These are some characters that I copied out of my Preston Blair Animation book and from character sheets I found at John K's $100,000 animation coarse.

Pay no attention to the partially drawn dragon and scribbly owl doodles.

ooo a little sad kid. sweet bonus material! I actually had to turn that duck character's head alittle bit. I screwed up the angle in the initial construction but I kept going and worked out the proportions based on the angle in the book.

There's more to come hopefully this last week before school starts up again.
